Metode Nr. 1 – ar sūkli
Lai pavairotu orhideju ar šo metodi, būs nepieciešams auga kātiņš, sūklis, konteiners un medus. Nogrieztā kātiņa vietu ieziediet mazliet ar medu – tas palīdzēs stimulēt augšanu.
Sūkļa centrā izveidojiet nelielu griezumu un tajā iespraudiet nogriezto kātiņu (ar medu uz leju, iekš sūkļa).
Ielieciet sūkli neliela izmēra konteinerā (vai traukā) un ielejiet tik daudz ūdens, lai sūklis būtu pilnībā ūdenī.
Atstājiet kātiņu ar sūkli tur uz 10 līdz 12 dienām. Pa šo laiku parādīsies pirmās orhidejas saknītes!
Metode Nr. 2 – ar kartupeli
Jaunas saknītes var veidoties arī no orhideju lapām. Pamēģiniet to izdarīt ar kartupeļa palīdzību. Šī metode lieliski darbojas arī tad, ja vēlaties pavairot rozes. Pateicoties tam, ka zaļā kartupelī ir daudz cietes, skābes, dažādas barības vielas un pietiekoši daudz mitruma, “iestādītie” augi saņem visu nepieciešamo veiksmīgam sakņošanās procesam.
Izveidojiet kartupeļos vairākus iegriezumus un ievietojiet tajos svaigi nogrieztus lapu fragmentus. Ievietojiet kartupeļus lēzenā traukā un pārklājiet ar mitrām sūnām. Mitriniet tās pēc nepieciešamības! Sūnas labi saglabā mitrumu. Pirmās saknītes parādīsies pēc 10 līdz 12 dienām.
